Eucatastrophe:
A sudden glorious plot twist that defies expectation.
In his books, J.R. Tolkien introduces us to this concept of “eucatastrophe.” We believe Jesus, the Human One, is the instigator of all the glorious plot twists that transform our lives.
Through his teachings, miracles, and ultimate sacrifice on the cross, Jesus shows us that even in the bleakest and most hopeless situations, something miraculous can happen. No matter how lost we may feel, we are never truly alone, and that there is always a way forward towards redemption and salvation.
Through the Human One:
We've overcome the hopelessness.
We've experienced victories and pushed through the despair.
We’ve found meaning and purpose behind failure and found hope in a guide greater than us.
If we're honest, many of us walk the line of wanting to be found without wanting to be found out.
It keeps us in an exhausting spiral of performance or hiding.
But when you're found by the Human One, it's all invitation without the condemnation.
