Rising Above Insignificance: Embracing The Strength Within

Rising Above Insignificance: Embracing The Strength Within

In our lives, there are moments when we struggle with feelings of insignificance, where we feel we don't belong or that we don't matter

Haven't we all experienced this at some point? Perhaps it all started the moment we were born, when we were pulled from the safety of the womb and exposed to the cold, desolate, and lonely world. It's natural to feel that way and ask, "WHERE IS MY MOM?!"

Let's consider the story of a baby giraffe entering the world. When a baby giraffe is born, its mother immediately gives it a firm kick. While it may seem harsh, this act is an essential form of communication between mother and child. The mother giraffe is urging her newborn to "get up and walk." She knows that if the baby giraffe doesn't begin walking right away, it will be vulnerable to predators in the unforgiving desert environment.

"Get Up And Walk"

The story of the baby giraffe can teach us a valuable lesson about overcoming the feelings of insignificance and inadequacy that weigh us down. The mother giraffe's kicks may seem cruel, but they push the baby to stand up and face the world. It's the same with us. We might feel insignificant at times, but remember that we are also pushed to grow, adapt, and persevere. Just like the baby giraffe, we can stand up, embrace our challenges, and become stronger for it.

“Our Greatest Glory Is Not In Never Falling, But In Rising Every Time We Fall.”

Confucius

The Human One doesn't kick us in the same way. Instead, He extends LOVE and GRACE, offering us comfort, bliss, and a sense of belonging reminiscent of the safety we felt in the womb.

1 Peter 5:7, it says,

"Cast All Your Anxiety On Him Because He Cares For You."

This verse reminds us that we can always turn to God when we feel overwhelmed or insignificant.

At Times, We May Feel Like We're Not Enough, Not Relevant, Important, Or Valued.

But it's essential to remember that

We ARE Someone

We ARE Significant

To those who love us, like our spouses, children, and friends. And beyond that, we are significant to The Human One, who is always with us.

Psalm 139:14 says,

"I Praise You Because I Am Fearfully And Wonderfully Made; Your Works Are Wonderful, I Know That Full Well."

This verse encourages us to acknowledge our worth and significance as creations of God.

So, when we're struggling with feelings of insignificance or worthlessness, we can draw strength and inspiration from the story of the baby giraffe. Just as the baby giraffe learns to stand up and walk in the face of adversity, we too can rise above our doubts and fears. We can embrace the challenges life throws our way and use them as opportunities to grow, learn, and persevere.

As We Walk Through This World, It's Essential To Remember That WE MATTER.

Embrace the challenges and grow from them, just like the baby giraffe learning to stand and walk immediately after being born.

If you're finding it difficult to see your own worth and significance, look up, look around, and look within. Know that you mean more than you could ever imagine to The Human One and those who care for you.

Romans 8:37 says,

"No, In All These Things We Are More Than Conquerors Through Him Who Loved Us."

This verse reminds us that with God's love and support, we can overcome any obstacle and find our true significance.

When you face moments of doubt and insecurity, remember the baby giraffe's journey. Embrace the "kicks" life presents to you, and use them to propel you forward, stand tall, and face the world with confidence.

You Are Loved, Valued, And Significant.

Remember, you are not alone in this journey. Lean on your loved ones, your faith, and The Human One who cares for you deeply. Embrace the challenges and grow from them, just like the baby giraffe learning to stand and walk immediately after being born.

No matter what life throws at you, always remember that you have the strength to rise above it all.

Believe You Can And You're Halfway There.
